An immersive experience of searching for digital flower seeds across the Pak Khlong Talad neighborhood and collaboratively planting them in a shared flower pot at the Praisaniyakarn building through Interactive Projection Mapping.
Participants are required to use the Collective Blooms Webapp as a tool to navigate and search for hidden digital flower seeds at various locations—from Sanam Chai MRT Station, Pak Khlong Talad, Yodpiman Market, King Prajadhipok Park, all the way to the Praisaniyakarn building. Each seed conveys a unique story and history of its respective location. After scanning and collecting seeds, participants can color and decorate their own flower seeds before planting them and witnessing the bloom of their uniquely styled flowers at the Praisaniyakarn building.
This exhibition, organized by 27JUNE STUDIO, explores new possibilities of using creative technology to design meaningful experiences rooted in the local context. It aims to encourage people to walk around and discover the stories and history of Pak Khlong Talad, increase visibility for hidden local shops, and help stimulate economic activity in the area.
Note: This experience requires the use of the Collective Blooms WebApp to view the map and scan for digital flower seeds. (You can scan a QR code to access the webapp—no need to download an application.)
